Week 24: charcoal mania
Whoeehoeeee I had such a great week drawing-wise!
Maybe the results aren't all that great yet but it's sooo much fun! Somehow it feels like it's a lot closer to sculpting! You can really see that I'm learning to work with it..

Monday

You can see for example that the first day I didn't really discover the 'smearing out' yet.. So i'm treating the material like it's just another pensil...

Tuesday

Then the next day I do 'discover' it.. But now real control over the lines anymore...

Wednesday

And then I feel like I can start playing with it...

Thursday

And then theres another problem I keep on creating for myself...
I'm very bad with planning my drawings.... And I lose myself in trying to get a detail right... And that's how I end up having lots of space on the upper part of the paper, and to less on the bottom part of the paper...

Friday

Or ending up with a way to big head compared to the rest of the body.. like on friday ;-)

But in the end I'm really happy with the week, it does make me really happy like my friend told me:-)

Sunday

So I'm definitely gonna continue a bit with that charcoal mania... Hoping that it will make me happy with more then my drawing-wise life ;-)
